Important Booking Notice
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking with Lagum Adventure. These terms explain our booking, payment, cancellation, refund, weather, and expedition policies.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS (ALL TOURS)
1. Booking & Confirmation

A deposit is required to confirm all bookings.

Bookings are only confirmed once payment is received and a confirmation email is issued.

All bookings are subject to availability.
2. Payments

Full payment must be completed before the tour date.

Online payments are subject to a 4.8% service fee.

Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the booking.
3. Cancellation Policy
By Guest:

14+ days before tour → Free cancellation (where applicable)

Less than 14 days → Non-refundable

No-show / late arrival → Non-refundable

No refunds will be given for:

missed tours due to flight delays or personal reasons

unused services

By Lagum Adventure:
Tours may be canceled due to:

weather conditions

Coast Guard restrictions

safety concerns

In such cases:

Guests may choose reschedule or refund (less processing fees)
4. Rebooking Policy

Rebooking is allowed subject to availability

Must be requested before the tour date
5. Itinerary & Weather Conditions

All tours are subject to weather and sea conditions

Itineraries may change for safety reasons

No refunds will be given for itinerary adjustments
6. Environmental & Government Fees

Some tours require additional fees (e.g., ETDF, lagoon fees)

These may be paid on-site unless stated as included
7. Health & Safety

The company reserves the right to refuse participation for safety reasons
8. Personal Responsibility

9. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for:

10. Third-Party Operators
Some tours may be operated by trusted local partners.
Lagum Adventure acts as a coordinator and booking facilitator.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for:

natural disasters

weather disruptions

government restrictions

transport delays
12. Media & Photography
Photos/videos may be used for marketing purposes.
Guests may opt out by informing us before the tour.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By booking with Lagum Adventure, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
EXPEDITION TERMS (BALABAC & PALAWAN EXPEDITIONS)
1. Booking & Deposit

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your expedition slot

Expeditions have limited capacity and are booked on a first-come basis
2. Full Payment

Full payment must be completed 3–5 days before departure

Online payments include a 4.8% service fee
3. Cancellation Policy (Expeditions)
By Guest:

14+ days before departure → Rebooking allowed (valid within 6 months)

Less than 14 days → No refund

No-show / late arrival → No refund
4. Weather & Coast Guard Policy

Expeditions depend on weather and sea conditions

The Philippine Coast Guard decision is final
If canceled:

5. Flexible Itinerary (VERY IMPORTANT)

Lagum Adventure Package Trips – Terms and Conditions
1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only after the required deposit or full payment has been received and acknowledged by Lagum Adventure in writing. Prices and availability are subject to change until the booking is confirmed.
2. Package Inclusions
Package inclusions are only those specifically listed in the confirmed package details. Depending on the package booked, inclusions may include flights, accommodation, daily breakfast, transfers required for the stipulated activities, tours and activities, entrance fees, and guide assistance.
3. Package Exclusions
Any item not clearly stated as included is considered excluded. This includes, but is not limited to, personal expenses, travel insurance, extra meals, drinks, optional activities, tips, room upgrades, and other services not listed in the confirmed itinerary.
4. Prices
Package prices are based on the current rates available at the time of quotation or publication. While Lagum Adventure aims to keep prices transparent, any government-imposed fees, airline adjustments, fuel surcharges, or supplier-imposed increases arising after booking may be passed on when applicable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Payments
Payment terms will be stated in your invoice or quotation. Full payment must be completed on or before the deadline given by Lagum Adventure. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of reserved arrangements.
6. Deposit and Cancellation Policy
A deposit is required to confirm the booking and is strictly non-refundable, as it is used to secure flights, accommodations, and other travel arrangements in advance. For cancellations made 30 days or more before the trip, any amount paid beyond the deposit may be refunded, subject to the refund policies of airlines, hotels, transport providers, and other suppliers. For cancellations made less than 30 days before departure, additional cancellation charges may apply, and refunds, if any, will depend on recoverable amounts from suppliers.
7. Refunds
Refunds, when applicable, will be based only on the recoverable amount from airlines, hotels, transport providers, tour operators, and other suppliers, less any administrative or processing charges. No refund will be given for unused services, missed activities, late arrivals, voluntary changes, or no-shows.
8. Flights and Transport
Some package trips include domestic flights and transportation as stated in the confirmed package details. Flight schedules, airlines, baggage allowances, and routing are subject to airline and supplier rules. Lagum Adventure is not liable for airline schedule changes, delays, cancellations, missed connections, baggage issues, or force majeure events, but will provide reasonable assistance in coordinating alternatives where possible.
9. Accommodation
Accommodation is based on the room category stated in the package details. Requests for room type, bed configuration, or special preferences are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
10. Itinerary Changes
Itineraries may be adjusted due to weather, sea conditions, local authority advisories, airline changes, operational requirements, safety considerations, or other events beyond our control. Lagum Adventure reserves the right to modify the sequence of activities, substitute similar services, or replace a destination, hotel, or activity with one of similar value when necessary.
11. Guest Responsibility
Guests are responsible for ensuring that all names, dates, passport details, and other travel information submitted are correct. Guests are also responsible for complying with check-in times, meeting times, baggage policies, safety instructions, and local regulations throughout the trip.
12. Health and Fitness
Some activities in the package, such as island hopping, trekking, camping, or other adventure-based tours, may require a reasonable level of physical fitness. Guests must disclose any medical condition, mobility issue, dietary requirement, allergy, or special need before booking. Participation in activities is at the guest’s own risk, and local operators may refuse participation if safety is a concern.
13. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all guests and should cover trip cancellation, delays, medical emergencies, personal accident, baggage loss, and other unexpected travel disruptions. Unless otherwise stated, travel insurance is not included in the package.
14. Cancellations or Changes by Lagum Adventure
Lagum Adventure reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or amend any package due to insufficient participants, unsafe weather, force majeure, government restrictions, supplier issues, transportation disruption, health concerns, or circumstances beyond reasonable control. In such cases, a refund, travel credit, rebooking option, or alternative arrangement may be offered depending on the circumstances and recoverable supplier costs.
15. Force Majeure
Lagum Adventure shall not be liable for failure to perform or delays caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to storms, rough sea conditions, natural disasters, epidemics, war, civil unrest, government action, airport closure, transport disruption, or utility interruption.
16. Liability
Lagum Adventure acts as an organizer and coordinator of services provided by airlines, hotels, transport companies, activity operators, and other independent suppliers. While we work only with trusted partners, we are not liable for injury, loss, damage, delay, accident, theft, or inconvenience caused by third-party providers or by events beyond our reasonable control, except where required by law.
17. Behavior and Conduct
Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward guides, staff, drivers, hotel personnel, boat crew, and fellow travelers. Lagum Adventure reserves the right to remove any guest from part or all of the trip, without refund, if their behavior is unsafe, abusive, disruptive, intoxicated, or illegal.
18. Special Requests
Special requests such as dietary needs, room preferences, child arrangements, or accessibility support should be communicated in advance. These requests are subject to availability and operational feasibility and are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
19. Photography and Marketing
Photos or videos taken during the trip may be used by Lagum Adventure for marketing and promotional purposes unless the guest informs us in writing before the trip that they do not wish to appear in such materials.
20. Agreement to Terms
By paying a deposit, making full payment, or joining the trip, the guest confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
