Philippines Travel Requirements (Updated Aug.2023)

Travel to the Philippines



Note: etravel.gov.ph now replaces the One Health Pass and remains mandatory for all travelers, Filipino and non-Filipino alike.


The Embassy would like to remind the public that this website is FREE OF CHARGE and to be vigilant in recognizing fraudulent websites.


For International Arrivals in the Philippines: Presentation of vaccination status and vaccination certificate for COVID-19 is no longer required.


All arriving international travelers are accepted regardless of their vaccination status.


For OFWs and Seafarers: The issuance of the International Certificate of Vaccination for Prophylaxis for Yellow Fever Vaccine and other vaccination depends on the requirement of the agency/company.


Requirements for Inbound Foreign Tourist/ Temporary Visitors:


  1. Passports valid for at least 6 months at the time of entry, subject to existing state receiprocity rules and/or agreements.

  2. Valid Visa, if applicable (for those who are not entitled to a visa free entry in the Philippines, as well as those with immigrant or non-immigrat status); and/ or

  3. Valid oward/return ticket to port of origin or next port of destination corresponding to their allowable period of stay, except (a) foreign spouses and/or children of Filipino citizens, who are travelling with them, (b) former Filipino citizens with Balikbayan privileges under Republic Act No. 9174, including their spouse and/or children, who are traveling with them.


Foreign Immigrants/Non-Immigrants except Tourist:



  • For ACR I-Card Holders, except 9A: valid visa implementation, ACR _-Card or ACR I-Card Waiver, Return Permit (RP), and/or Special Return Certificate (SCR) shall be presented during arrival/departure inspection.


E-Travel Registration



The following shall be required to register/update with eTravel System (etravel.gov.ph), except for foreign diplomats, and their dependents, foreign dignitaries, and members of their delegation, 9E visa holders, and holders of diplomatic and official/service passport:


  1. Arriving Filipino and foreign passengers;

  2. Arriving Crew Members, and

  3. Departing Filipino Passengers.

Note for all travelers: Travelers transiting through other countries will need to check the travel restrictions regarding that country and are recommended to further inquire with their airline carrier of choice
