Important Booking Notice

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking with Lagum Adventure. These terms explain our booking, payment, cancellation, refund, weather, and expedition policies.

  • All tours are subject to availability.

  • Weather and sea conditions may affect schedules and itineraries.

  • Expedition tours such as Balabac and Palawan Expedition follow additional expedition-specific terms.

  • By confirming a booking, guests agree to these terms.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS (ALL TOURS)

1. Booking & Confirmation

  • A deposit is required to confirm all bookings.

  • Bookings are only confirmed once payment is received and a confirmation email is issued.

  • All bookings are subject to availability.

 

2. Payments

  • Full payment must be completed before the tour date.

  • Online payments are subject to a 4.8% service fee.

  • Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the booking.

 

3. Cancellation Policy

By Guest:

  • 14+ days before tour → Free cancellation (where applicable)

  • Less than 14 days → Non-refundable

  • No-show / late arrival → Non-refundable

  • No refunds will be given for:

    • missed tours due to flight delays or personal reasons

    • unused services

By Lagum Adventure:

Tours may be canceled due to:

  • weather conditions

  • Coast Guard restrictions

  • safety concerns

In such cases:

  • Guests may choose reschedule or refund (less processing fees)

4. Rebooking Policy

  • Rebooking is allowed subject to availability

  • Must be requested before the tour date

5. Itinerary & Weather Conditions

  • All tours are subject to weather and sea conditions

  • Itineraries may change for safety reasons

  • No refunds will be given for itinerary adjustments

6. Environmental & Government Fees

  • Some tours require additional fees (e.g., ETDF, lagoon fees)

  • These may be paid on-site unless stated as included

7. Health & Safety

  • Guests must be physically fit for the activity

  • The company reserves the right to refuse participation for safety reasons

8. Personal Responsibility

  • Guests are responsible for:

    • personal belongings

    • travel documents

  • Lagum Adventure is not liable for:

    • loss or theft

    • personal accidents beyond reasonable control

9. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for:

  • cancellations

  • medical emergencies

  • trip interruptions

10. Third-Party Operators

Some tours may be operated by trusted local partners.
Lagum Adventure acts as a coordinator and booking facilitator.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for:

  • natural disasters

  • weather disruptions

  • government restrictions

  • transport delays

12. Media & Photography

Photos/videos may be used for marketing purposes.
Guests may opt out by informing us before the tour.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By booking with Lagum Adventure, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

EXPEDITION TERMS (BALABAC & PALAWAN EXPEDITIONS)

1. Booking & Deposit

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your expedition slot

  • Expeditions have limited capacity and are booked on a first-come basis

2. Full Payment

  • Full payment must be completed 3–5 days before departure

  • Online payments include a 4.8% service fee

3. Cancellation Policy (Expeditions)

By Guest:

  • 14+ days before departure → Rebooking allowed (valid within 6 months)

  • Less than 14 days → No refund

  • No-show / late arrival → No refund

4. Weather & Coast Guard Policy

  • Expeditions depend on weather and sea conditions

  • The Philippine Coast Guard decision is final

If canceled:

  • Guests may choose:

    • reschedule

    • partial refund (excluding operational costs)

5. Flexible Itinerary (VERY IMPORTANT)

  • Expedition routes are not fixed tours

  • Stops (Onok Island, sandbars, reefs) are not guaranteed

Changes may occur due to:

  • weather

  • tides

  • safety

👉 No refunds for itinerary changes

6. Minimum Participants

  • Expeditions require a minimum number of guests

  • If not met:

    • reschedule or full refund will be offered

7. Transport & Pick-Up

  • Pick-up times (e.g., 3:00–4:00 AM for Balabac) must be followed strictly

  • Late guests may miss the trip without refund

8. Accommodation Conditions

  • Accommodation is island-style camping

  • Expect:

    • basic facilities

    • shared spaces

    • limited electricity and water

👉 This is part of the expedition experience

9. Food & Dietary Conditions

  • Meals depend on local availability and fresh supply

  • Special dietary requirements may not always be accommodated

10. Activities & Equipment

  • Activities depend on weather conditions

  • Snorkeling gear may not always be included

11. Health & Fitness

  • Guests must be physically fit

  • Not suitable for serious medical conditions or limited mobility

12. Personal Responsibility

  • Guests join at their own risk

  • The company is not liable for:

    • personal loss

    • injuries beyond reasonable control

13. Travel Insurance

Strongly recommended due to:

  • remote locations

  • limited medical access

14. Acceptance of Terms

By joining an expedition, guests acknowledge and accept these conditions.
